At the end of March 2019, Đuro Đaković TEP signed a contract for the production and delivery of 3,500 tonnes of pressure and non-pressure parts for 3 boilers in a new waste incinerator in the UK. Deliveries began at the end of January 2020 by trucks, special transports, and ships from the Port of Rijeka. Due to the specific situation around the COVID-19 virus, transport itself was a special challenge, which required a completely new planning of each individual shipment.
Despite all complications that occurred in the implementation of the project, all the equipment was delivered even a month before the agreed deadline.
